Conferencing with a difference
The Grand Theatre makes an interesting, beautiful and unusual site for your product launch, business lunch or conference. See our theatre tour for a glimpse of the theatre's striking and sumptuous interior.
Comprising two separate theatres - the Grand Theatre seating 1100 and the Lawrence House Studio seating 80 – both under the one roof, the Grand is a popular choice for party conference fringe meetings, press conferences and so on.The Grand Theatre can also handle catering for up to 80 with ten different menus ranging from hot and cold buffets to sandwiches, cakes and fresh coffee.
Facilities
Facilities include flip chart holders, television and video, full sound and lighting (with expert technical crew to help you if needed), audio loop and infra red system. Both theatres also have wheelchair access. There is a choice of end-stage single-tier raked seating in the studio, or tables and chairs. For smaller scale conferences, production management is also available, please ask for a quote. In some instances full lighting and stage may be available. The main theatre also features level access get in for set from Matcham Court. See our technical specification page for more information.
Why not combine your meeting with a theatre tour? Up to twenty delegates at a time can be taken on a full backstage and front-of-house tour of the theatre described as "Matcham's Masterpiece". Our tours are full of fascinating facts and interesting gossip about the many stars who have appeared at the theatre since it opened in 1894.

Transport
