About the 'A Night Less Ordinary' incentive

A Night Less Ordinary is an Arts Council England initiative, supported by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, to get more young people into theatres across the country. The £2.5 million scheme will provide 618,000 free theatre tickets to anyone aged 16 to 26 in more than 200 venues across England including Blackpool’s beautiful Grand.

A spokesperson for Arts Council England said: “Arts Council England wants more young people to experience great theatre up close. To do that, we have to remove the barriers, like cost, that stop young people attending. We believe A Night Less Ordinary will help hundreds of thousands of young people to realise what live theatre can do – inspire us, challenge us and help us make sense of the world. It’s an inspiration that can last a lifetime.”
