NEW BROCHURE NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD FROM OUR HOMEPAGE

Continuing the change of programming within the theatre and the array of stars we are bringing to Blackpool, such as the legendary Tommy Steele last season, it is my intention to bring other household names from the worlds of show business and "entertainment" to the Grand: the return of Ken Dodd who has performed in Blackpool every year for the last 50 years; Cannon and Ball are back in an uncustomary role for Blackpool in the play Big Bad Mouse; from the hit television show Any Dream Will Do we welcome Craig Chalmers in the Bill Kenwright's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; making his debut at the Grand Theatre is Joe McGann in the lead role of Tevye in UK Production’s Fiddler on the Roof; Anita Harris joins forces with Victor Spinetti in the P.G. Wodehouse classic Come On, Jeeves; and last but not least, from a different genre of entertainment, an evening with boxing legend Ricky Hatton.

With the public’s interest in ice skating increasing due to television’s Dancing on Ice shows, Blackpool's own ice rink at the Pleasure Beach, and of course theiresounding success of Peter Pan on Ice in October 2007; Wild Rose is returning with two spectacular ice productions this year; the Grand Theatre has commissioned Variety on Ice during the schools' Easter holidays and in October/November the world premiere of Cirque de Glace, combining the skills of circus and skating to celebrate the final week of Blackpool's world-famous
Illuminations.

All at the Grand would like to thank you for your support, it is imperative that you spread word of the Grand Theatre beyond our local boundaries. This will enable us to bring quality, entertaining, educational and challenging productions to the home of entertainment, Blackpool.

Blackpool has a vision for the future and the Grand must be part of that vision. With your continued support we will fulfil this goal.
