The students have been chosen and the first term is soon to begin...

The Grand Theatre is delighted to be working with Colin Snell (Arnold School/'In Yer Space Theatre') to deliver exciting opportunities for young people to engage with a wide range of theatre arts through our new Youth Theatre Company. Sessions will run weekly in three terms through the school year, and be arranged into two aged bands - 11 to 14 year olds and 15 to 19s.

The sessions will cover a broad range of theatrical activity, the company looks for young people to embrace the ethos of forming a Theatre Company at the Grand. This will involve technical theatre; marketing and promotion; theatrical design as well as performance.

Sessions will run for 90 minutes on Wednesday evenings and cost £50 per term.

GYTC members are required to make payment for each new term on the first day of each term (cheques for £50.00 should be made payable to the Grand Theatre, Blackpool).
