Don’t miss it!

Don’t miss this rare treat to see the little mouse with big dreams dance her pirouettes and grand jetés in front of a live audience.

Children’s favourite storybook character Angelina Ballerina is back at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre by popular demand in her very own live ballet Angelina’s Star Performance from Thursday 25th September to Saturday 27th September.

Feisty mouseling Angelina has been given the honour of putting on her very own performance of The Sleeping Beauty for the Queen in her splendid palace. She even has a real life Princess, Princess Valentine, to star alongside her in the show. It’s Angelina's biggest challenge yet... will she manage to pull it off?

This magical introduction to ballet for children from the age of 3 upwards features music from Tchaikovsky’s The Sleeping Beauty with dazzling sets and costumes and is performed by eight members of the world-renowned English National Ballet. Don’t miss this rare treat to see the little mouse with big dreams dance her pirouettes and grand jetés in front of a live audience.

Managing Director of English National Ballet, Craig Hassall, said: "English National Ballet's mission has always been to bring ballet to the widest possible audience. This is a great way of encouraging children to get involved and to enjoy ballet with Angelina Ballerina, who is such a good role model for today's children. A project of this scale also gives us the opportunity to perform in venues that we wouldn’t be able to visit with the full Company, allowing more people to enjoy the performances."

Thursday and Friday at 2pm and 7pm, Saturday at 12.30pm, 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
