After the huge success of The Awful Egyptians and The Ruthless Romans the Grand Theatre is delighted to welcome back Birmingham Stage Company and Horrible Histories with an exciting new production THE TERRIBLE TUDORS.
Using actors and ground-breaking 3D special effects, this astounding show is guaranteed to thrill you and your children.
THE TERRIBLE TUDORS
From the horrible Henries to the end of evil Elizabeth, hear the legend (and the lies!) about the torturing Tudors. Find out the fate of Henry's headless wives and his punch up with the Pope. What sort of bed-time stories would YOU have heard if you'd lived in that awful age?
Historical figures and events will come alive on stage and hover at your fingertips!

Schools - Key Stage 2
A visit to Horrible Histories at The Grand Theatre is bound to excite and inspire your Key Stage 2 pupils to want to know more about the Tudor or Victorian periods – the show will really bring historical characters and period detail to life. It is a completely unique and hugely stimulating resource to enrich your school's delivery of the National Curriculum.
There is a free Horrible Histories education pack available just ask the box office when you book tickets for your school party. It gives you lots of background historical notes tied into the show's content and describes both preparation work you can do with your class before their theatre visit and also has some great follow-up ideas.

Open 10am to 8pm (subject to change due to performances). All major credit and debit cards are accepted over the telephone and in person. When booking by credit card, a booking fee of £1.50 per transaction is applicable. Debit cards attract no booking fee.

PARKING
'SHOW AND PARK' Directly opposite the theatre’s entrance is the secure West Street Car Park. Special 'SHOW AND PARK' discounted West Street Car Park tickets are ONLY £2.50 allowing you to park from 5.30pm to 12.30am. Book your parking ticket when you book your show tickets from the Box Office. We are obliged to Blackpool Council for providing this parking facility.
