Written by Philip King
Ian Dickens Productions are proud to present Phillip King's classic wartime farce See How They Run starring Jeffrey Holland star of Hi-De-Hi and You Rang M’Lord, who last appeared at the Grand Theatre in Ray Cooney’s hilarious farce It Runs in the Family. Joining him are Fraser Hines (Emmerdale), Guy Siner best known for his portrayal of Lieutenant Gruber in 'Allo 'Allo and Michael Sharvell-Martin (No Place Like Home).
Set in the village of Merton-cum-Middlewick, See How They Run is a comedy of mistaken identities as it is besieged by an escaped prisoner of war, a visiting bishop, an actor and a locum priest, all at the same time! However, parish spinster Miss Skillon makes a call to the vicar with what is, to her mind, a far more pressing matter - she is outraged by the dalliences of the vicar's wife - a former actress.
Throw in some nosy neighbours and one or two disguises and the resulting confusion provides an hilarious evening.
You may remember other great Ian Dickens Productions at the Grand such as Caught in the Net, Beside The Seaside, Blithe Spirit and Out of Order.
