Touring nationally and internationally since 2001, this magical musical adaptation of the best-selling picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, The Gruffalo has been performed over 4000 times to over a million people the world over!

The award-winning book was recently voted the nation’s number one bedtime story by BBC Radio 2 listeners and even hit the small screens on Christmas Day in a star-studded TV adaptation on BBC1!

Join Mouse on an adventurous journey through the deep dark wood… meet a wheeler-dealer Fox, an eccentric old Owl, a maraca-shaking, party-mad Snake! Mouse can scare these hungry animals away with tall stories of the terrifying Gruffalo, but what happens when he comes face to face with the very creature he imagined…?

The Gruffalo is an ideal introduction to theatre for nursery, pre and primary school children and their families; with plenty of songs, laughs and fun for ages 3 to 300!

‘The Gruffalo is a modern classic’ Observer

‘Utterly satisfying, both for its rollocking rhyming couplets, its brilliantly clear pictures and its robust hero’ The Times

‘Pure magic’ Daily Express

‘One of the best trickster tales to have been published for many years’ Independent On Sunday

‘There can be few modern parents who have not had the question “A Gruffalo? What’s a Gruffalo?” seared into their memory after countless repetition’ Independent

‘He’s the most popular character since Harry Potter . . . a toddler’s tale became a national obsession' Observer

‘It is rare to find a picture book to rival Julia Donaldson’s classic rhyming story, The Gruffalo’ Daily Telegraph

‘What’s the measure of a successful book? Well, after ten years at the top The Gruffalo has sold over four million copies, has spawned a stage show and won tons of awards. It’s also probably nestling on your bookshelves at home’ JUNIOR
