Amy Lovatt is a British YouTuber with 78.8k subscribers. She produces a broad variety of musical theatre-based content, providing something for any and all musical lovers to enjoy watching. Carrie Hope Fletcher is a young theatre legend.

Originally named ‘ItsWayPastMyBedTime’, her channel began with her posting covers of songs and songs that she has written herself. Since then, she has become most famous for vlogging her behind-the-scenes experiences starring in multiple musicals.

She has a playlist entitled ‘Cinder Sunday’ where she vlogs her most recent adventure playing Cinderella in Andrew Lloyd Webbers stage adaptation of the classic fairytale. She has also used her YouTube channel to bring people into her world as Veronica in the ‘Heathers’ musical in a series called ‘Veronica Vlogs’.

Carrie’s YouTube channel shares her career and story from small YouTuber to West End star – an inspiring story for her hundreds of thousands of subscribers. National Theatre

The ‘National Theatre’ YouTube channel is an incredible way to keep in touch with the theatre industry. The channel provides endless playlists with information about theatre, your favourite productions, behind-the-scenes stories and so much more. They share trailers, clips and behind-the-scenes footage of numerous shows such as Romeo & Juliet, Under Milk Wood, Dick Whittington, The Deep Blue Sea and so many more.

As well as this, they have lots of more general theatre content and it is organised into handy playlists so that you can find the area that you are interested in and browse the channel, learning extensively. Their West End Live videos are an amazing way to feel the beauty and presence of theatre without necessarily being there – you can experience all of the magic through your computer screen.

They offer recordings of a vast number of shows such as Heathers, Hamilton, Magic Mike, Rock of Ages, The Great Gatsby, Six, Matilda, Pippin, Dear Evan Hanson and that is only to name a few. ‘Official Theatre London’ also post regular ‘Theatre Live Chats’ where they interview some iconic artists like Lucie Jones, Gabrielle Brooks, Kiran Landa, Dave Hearn and so many more.

Their coverage of the Olivier Awards is especially popular, providing videos of the winners of each category and their speeches, making theatre all the more accessible to everyone.
