Blackpool has plenty to do and see to keep the entire family entertained – even the littlest ones!

If you fancy taking your under 5s on a lovely and fun day out in Blackpool, we’ve compiled a few suggestions to help you plan an exciting day.

Peter Pan Pantomime

6th December 2019 to 5th January 2020

Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell, and Tiger Lily bring fairy dust and fun to the entire family. Take on Captain Hook in Neverland’s extraordinary sets that will make you feel as if you’re fighting the pirates alongside Peter. The dazzling costumes and hilarious comedy could only be followed by flying effects that are quite literally out-of-this-world.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Nickelodeon Land at Pleasure Beach is the family-friendly home to 12 thrilling rides and Nickelodeon characters. And if the little ones don’t feel like meeting all the characters, why not have a try at the other rides for all the family?

From gallopers to a Chinese puzzle maze and an Alpine Rallye, there’s plenty of fun rides to keep the entire family entertained on a day out.

Stanley Park and Blackpool Model Village

Spanning 390 acres, Stanley Park is a relaxing and magical place filled with nature, wildlife, and stunning architecture. With a long sporting history, the park has a variety of fun activities you can enjoy such as crazy golf and trim trails with facilities for the little ones.

Explore the water fountains, Italian gardens, rose gardens, and so much more for the entire family. The Blackpool Model Village, for example, is a great attraction for you to take the little ones to. It boasts hundreds of creative village scenes with handcrafted models and figures to explore across 2.5 acres.

 

Penny Farm

This lovely horse rescue and rehabilitation centre is operated by the World Horse Welfare charity. You can take the little ones to meet the more than 60 horses, with guided tours available, and walk around the undercover barn area. If you prefer, you can walk one of the activity trails and watch the horses and ponies relaxing in the fields.

Learn about the Penny Farm environment and grab a bite to eat at the coffee shop. Starting 1st December, Penny Farm will have a Christmas fair with games, stalls, Christmas treats, and more – and even a visit from Santa himself!
