Martin Dodd for UK Productions Ltd in association with Blackpool Grand Theatre presents Cinderella Pantomime 2024-5 Cinderella… You shall go to the ball!
Blackpool’s No.1 Pantomime… For 2024-5 Blackpool Grand Theatre will stage one of the most enchanting rags-to-riches fairy tales of them all, Cinderella.
Starring Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Comic and Panto favourite Steve Royle as Buttons; Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph return once more as the incredibly gorgeous Ugly Sisters, Melody and Harmony Hard-Up; PLUS an all-star cast, soon to be announced. And of course, the Sensational Shetland Ponies…
Blackpool’s No.1 Pantomime, Cinderella, features sumptuous costumes, magnificent scenery and the unmissable and magical rags-to-riches transformation.
Cinderella would love to go to the ball but, Melody and Harmony, the ugly sisters, have other ideas, they wickedly tear up Cinderella’s invitation! But all may not be lost! Can Cinderella’s ‘best friend in the whole wide world’, Buttons, and her magical Fairy Godmother, Cinderella get her to the ball… if so she must be home by midnight, or her true identity will be revealed to all! With a script by Jon Monie (winner of Best Script at the Great British Pantomime Awards 2019), Cinderella promises side-splitting comedy, with stunning sets and costumes.
Blackpool Grand Theatre Head of Audiences, Marketing and Sales Andrew Howard said,
We’re delighted to announce Steve Royle sharing yet another magical Christmas with us, he’s one of the family. It’s also a pleasure to be welcoming Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph back once more to their home theatre. ‘Blackpool Grand aims to be the theatre of choice for Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre and to offer opportunities to enjoy, participate and learn.
