Four top pro comedians will make you LOL!

We bring you comedians off the telly from all the major panel shows and roadshows plus the best of the rest.

So come and see more brilliant comedians!

The Grand Theatre reserves the right to change the line-up at any time.

John Hastings is an award winning Canadian who’s softly spoken comedy is powerfully funny. He pulls you in making you eager to see how each of his carefully spun tales conclude.

At a show filled with particularly intoxicated and boisterous revelers we’ve seen him not just hold people’s attention but take the roof off. At other shows with more ‘normal’ crowds his hold on the audience is nothing short of mesmerising.

No wonder then that having gathered a bunch of accolades and TV appearances in Canada and despite being relatively fresh to the UK, John has already appeared on Sean Walsh’s Comedy Spectacular (BBC3) with further success beckoning.

“An amazing comic” Arts Award Voice

“The affable storyteller keeps us entertained through this hour about his family, and being something of a misfit…” Chortle

Alistair Williams describes his comedy style as ‘the ramblings of a moron’. He must be doing something right though as he is highly regarded as one of the most exciting acts on the UK comedy circuit.

Combining high energy with a super charismatic stage presence his set is packed with rip roaring gags from start to finish.

“Fresh and very funny” Bearcat Comedy

Josh Pugh started his stand up career in May 2014 when he exploded onto the scene by winning a gong show in his first ever gig.

Since then Josh has continued to follow that explosion up with a series of sustained artillery attacks in the form of open spots around the west midlands as he does this with a confident and clever writing style that takes you off on glorious tangents.

He won that Funhouse gong show and has since gone on to win Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award 2015 and the Nottingham Comedy Festival New Act of the Year Award 2015. In between he somehow won Midland New Act of the Year in both 2014 and 2015 . This year, he came 3rd in the NATYS before going on to win English Comedian of the Year 2016.

Josh has a unique, interesting and funny voice with a very exciting future.
