Gavin Webster is an award winning act and legendary, long standing, influential yet unpredictable comedian from the North East of England. He’s been going for almost 25 years now! After making his modest debut in a pub in Gateshead in February 1993 (on the same bill as Ross Noble!) he’s done about seven thousand gigs performing all over the world including Abu Dhabi, Australia, Hong Kong, Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, Singapore & Malaysia. Famed and respected by his peers for his uncompromising and unusual approach and distinctly original routines, he now boasts a large cult following round the country. Gavin has also supported some of the biggest household names on tour including Kevin Bridges & Alexi Sayle. He has also become a cult hero at the Edinburgh Fringe having performed an amazing ten solos shows over his career (see below). Not content with that Gavin has other talents including a skill for voiceover as he was once the voice of the DFDS Ferries advert campaign. His television work includes Never Mind The Buzzcocks, The Stand-up Show, Does Doug Know, Take The Mike, The Regionnaires, The Eleven O Clock show, The Comedy Store, Comedy Blue and The World Stand Up Tour (Channel 9 Australia, Comedy Central USA). He wrote and played in Walk on the Wild Side in 2009 and 2010. In 2011 he voiced Sid the Sexist for Channel 4’s series Blaps adapting Viz. His 2011 Edinburgh Fringe show, All Young People are Cunts was positively reviewed by the British Comedy Guide. He previously played Edinburgh in 2003, 2008 and 2009. He had a residency at The Stand Comedy Club in Newcastle every Sunday called ‘Gavin Webster’s Northumbrian Assembly’. In January 2014, this was relaunched as the monthly “Gavin Webster Comedy Show”, which came to an end in June 2014. In 2012 he returned to the Edinburgh Fringe with a new stand-up show, Bill Hicks Wasn’t Very Good. His 2014 Edinburgh show was called “Controversial Title in Order to Sell Tickets” whilst his 2016 show was entitled “Jesus Christ Is A Window Cleaner Now”.

Debra – Jane Appelby was the winner of both The Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and Funny Women Comedy Award in 2005 and has become one of the most popular comedians on the circuit. She performs up and down the country with her Northern no-nonsense take on the world, gaining accolades wherever she goes. Debra has appeared the BBC’s 28 Acts in 28 Minutes and on Paramount Comedy’s The World Stands Up as well as number of appearances on BBC Radio 5 Live, and as a guest on BBC Radio 4′s Woman’s Hour.

Jinx Yeo is an award-winning Singaporean comedian who was nominated “Best Comedy” at the Fringe World Awards 2018. His hard-hitting punchlines, effortless delivery, and clever material won him 1st Runner-Up at the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival (2011)… and… Finalist in the America Meet World Global Comedy Competition (2014). Jinx’s TV appearances include Comedy Central Asia (where he was “Comedian of the Month” for June 2015)… Channel 5’s “Ok Chope”… as well as ABCTV’s “Comedy Up Late” (recorded at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2017). Birthed from intercourse between his strict conservative Asian upbringing, and anti-authoritarian Hippie influences from studying in America… Jinx’s comedy offers a fresh perspective that hasn’t been covered by many comedians, partly because Singaporeans have often been stereotyped as humourless and regimented people. Having entertained sold-out crowds in 16 countries (such as Australia, China, New Zealand, India, UK, and even Germany) over 3 continents… Jinx’s comedy is based on observations and experiences that are widely relatable – not just to Asians, but to audiences of other backgrounds and ethnicities as well. Jinx has a diverse arsenal of hilarious and original material, that enables him to adapt his performances to a wide range of audiences – young or old, foreigners or locals, club gigs or corporate shows. His side-splitting stories, sharp observations, and bewildering imagination leaves audiences in stitches. Jinx Yeo will be touring his NEW 2018 stand-up comedy show “Absurdly Asian” in various international cities. Enjoy huge belly laughs with this new stand-up comedy hour – from one of Asia’s funniest comedians.
