Local businessman Thomas Sergenson secured the world’s leading theatre architect, Frank Matcham, to design the magnificent jewel we know today. Renowned as Matcham’s masterpiece, it has a long and lively heritage history. See the secrets of the great stage, take in Blackpool’s hidden gem, learn about flamboyant architect Frank Matcham and explore the warren of staircases that lead to the stars, dressing rooms and beyond.

We now offer an option of either a shorter thirty-minute tour at 11am (£5 minimum donation), or our more detailed seventy-five-minute tour at 12pm (£10 minimum donation), led by one of our theatre tour guides.
