FIND CINDERELLA’S GLASS SLIPPER
This Christmas, Cinderella is coming to the Grand Theatre in search of her Glass Slipper!
As she was running out of The GRAND ball, Cinderella left her slipper behind. Only BFF Buttons has picked it up, run all the way around Blackpool to give it back but has now lost it! Now you must help Buttons find the Slipper and reunite Cinderella with her Prince Charming!
From Monday 27 November to Friday 15 December, a competition will be held in conjunction with a secret store location within Houndshill Shopping Centre. The shop will showcase the stunning Glass Slipper in their store window.
– FIND the glass slipper in Houndshill Shopping Centre.
– Take a SELFIE with the slipper and upload it to THE Competition Facebook post!
The lucky winner will win the John Ditchfield GLASS SLIPPER, a FAMILY OF FOUR TICKET and a MEET & GREET with the Panto Cast after the show! (29 Dec, 2pm*)
Can’t find it? Don’t worry – we will be releasing hints and tips on the whereabouts of the mysterious item. Look out on Facebook!
The Glass Slipper was handmade by legendary glass artist John Ditchfield of Glasform Ltd. Ditchfield’s an international glass master based in Blackpool. He specializes in bespoke architectural glass work and has created the most incredible glass slipper.
Many locals may recognize his renowned piece, the ‘Dreamkeeper’. John’s pieces can also be seen in Cleveley’s Wetherspoons and forms part of The Grand Theatre’s Matcham Court canopy design.
Andrew Howard, Grand Theatre Marketing Manager said,
‘‘John is an incredibly close friend of the Grand Theatre and has worked with us over many years. John was commission as part of the glass roofing at the rear of the theatre and has also worked with the marketing team on many occasions. We are thrilled to be working with our friend once again and the piece he has created is incredible. A prize every child and adult would love to own. It’s fantastic being able to work with John once more, and give someone the chance to own a piece of his unique one-off works.’’
