Do you have what it takes to become ZooNation’s Associate Youth Dance Company?

As part of our participation project ZooResidence, supported by Arts Council England, ZooNation Dance Company are offering youth dance groups the opportunity to become ZooNation’s first ever Associate Youth Dance Company for one year!

Inspired by Into the Hoods: Remixed, ZooNation are challenging young dancers and their choreographers to take a well-known story, create and film a piece of Hip Hop Dance Theatre.

Open to dance clubs, school groups and Hip Hop crews, competition entrants will be asked to submit a video of their piece online. Digital submissions will be judged by ZooNation’s
Artistic Director, Kate Prince and members of the creative team.

To help create and support this process ZooNation will give you EXCLUSIVE access to videos and tips from Kate Prince, Carrie-Anne Ingrouille and other members of ZooNation’s expert team. There will also be workshops held in 5 locations around the country for practical advice.

One dance group will be picked to become an Associate Youth Dance Company of ZooNation for one year!
