Blackpool Transport travellers have noticed a big change this week!

A group of talented dancers from Barbra Jackson’s Theatre Arts Centre showed support of a ‘GRAND’ Christmas makeover in the Blackpool town centre – ahead of the opening of the Grand Theatre’s spectacular pantomime this year, Aladdin!

To encourage theatre customers to be greener this Christmas, and to get them using more public transport when visiting the theatre, Blackpool’s Grand completed a recent makeover of two of the towns busiest stops!

The new makeover also gives Families the chance to WIN a Family Ticket each week to this year’s big event at The Grand, Pantomime!

Pantomime is a huge success at the stunning Blackpool theatre and this year is no exception and stars BAFTA-winning CBBC presenter Barney Harwood as Aladdin, the cheeky hero who sets off on a quest to win the heart of the beautiful Princess and retrieve a mysterious lamp.

Starring alongside Harwood is TV soap regular Mark Moraghan (Holby City, Coronation Street) as the evil Abanazer, BBC Radio Lancashire and Grand panto legend Steve Royle as Wishee Washee, Radio Wave’s Hayley Kay, as Slave of the Ring and the hilarious Philip Meeks as Widow Twankey. The cast also includes comedy magician Mark James as PC Pong and Ronnie Leek as Emperor.

The talented dancers of Barbra Jackson’s Theatre Arts Centre helped encourage passers-by take part in the #ImInPanto project and perhaps win a trip to the theatre. Barbra Jackson’s Theatre Arts Centre have been performing in The Grand’s pantomimes for over 18 years.
