23rd November: Buddy Holly and The Cricketers

Enjoy the Yuletide festivities with Buddy Holly and The Cricketers, starring some of the best actor-musicians in the UK. Join us for an evening of contemporary music that will have you say “I can’t believe it’s not Buddy Holly!”

Choose from a variety of bouldering and climbing activities for adults and children alike, from 5 years of age and older. Enjoy National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme, or NICAS, climbing courses on a Pay and Play system. Develop skills sets while you increase your fitness level by working as a team. This will help to build your technique, trust, and confidence.

You can also have a fun day out and have an adventure across the high ropes course to test both your confidence and balance. The course is composed of wobbly obstacles that move up to an 8-metre high platform. From ropes swings, moving tyres, abseiling, wobbly bridges, and to a mega zip wire, you’re sure to have a fantastic time.

Visit Stanley Park

As Blackpool’s main park, Stanley Park provides fun activities, stunning landscapes, beautiful gardens, and historical building of magnificent architecture. A children’s play area entertains children between 2-8 years old with swings, seesaws, roundabouts, rocking horses, climbing frames, slides, a play vehicle, 3D spring ride ons, rota web, and an interactive surfboard.

You can enjoy the wide range of facilities provided at the park, from a model village, to food areas, a golf course, boat hire, and much more.

Late (Night) Christmas Shopping

Leading up to winter and Christmas, you’ll be able to do some Late Night Shopping for presents that you may not have found just yet. As organised and prepared as we try to be, we all sometimes leave a few things last-minute!

Blackpool’s more than 60 high-street and fashion shops at Houndshill Shopping Centre such as River Island, Debenhams, Jack Jones, New Look, and more will be open until 8pm on selected dates. You can do some Late Night Shopping on the following Thursdays in December: 6th, 13th, and 20th.
