The Grand Hosts Three Little Pigs Workshops

To celebrate the arrival of National Ballet’s Three Little Pigs: a ballet for children, The Grand in association with Northern Ballet, Blackpool Library Service and Blackpool Music Service held a week of workshops for children to get involved.
Two public workshops were held in Central and Moor Park libraries with dancers from Northern Ballet who introduced children to ballet moves. The Central Library workshop was also followed by a craft workshop with Bonkers Clutterbucks who produced pig houses for the children to colour in and assemble.
As well as public events, The Grand put on workshops in Fylde schools and children’s centres, working with kids and parents to introduce the story of the Three Little Pigs as well the world of dance to young children.
