Make a Group Reservation

What constitutes a group? Usually they start at 20 but can be as low as 4/6 so do ask on booking. With the volume of administration involved 39 or less seats cannot be placed on reserve, payment will be requested at the time of booking. Group prices where available vary depending on the show, so please check the show page.

To place a booking of 40+ seats (and have the oportunity to pay nearer the show you are attending) please complete the digital online form by clicking below, this will be the first step in making your booking.

To make a booking of 39 seats or less, payment is required ‘at time of booking’, to make payment call the box office on 01253 290 190.

What will happen once I complete the online form?

On completion of the digital online enquiry form one of our Sales Team will be in touch (usually within 72hrs, subject to Bank Holidays) to discuss seating options available to you and confirm your reservation/booking.

Following this confirmaton an Order/Invoice will be forwarded to you for ‘digital signature’ by the Head of Finance or Head of School (note: the document can only be signedby either of these parties). If numbers are increased or reduced you may be requested to re-sign for your booking.

Making Payment / due dates

Groups of 40 to 99 seats payment due 30 days prior to attendance date,

100+ seats payment 60 days prior.

Once the Payment Due Date has past, the number of seats reserved will be the number of seats invoiced for. If payment is not received by the Payment Due Date, Blackpool Grand Theatre holds the write to released a reservation and offer seats to customers on a waiting list. Your Finance Departments/Payment system etc. should be advised of the Payment Due Date, payment must be received (in our account) prior to this date.

Due to the volume of bookings we receive, Payment Due Dates will not be extended. You may add extra seats to your paid booking once complete by calling us (with payment by credit card).

Group Offers – these discounts are off full-priced adult tickets only, not pre-discounted tickets e.g. Child, 65+, Under 26 (18-26yrs) etc. Some Group Offers may have specific restrictions (days/times/particular seats etc.).

Pre-payment – IMPORTANT: Please note tickets cannot be issued for a show without payment in advance. A group/school will not be permitted to see the show without tickets being paid for.

I need to Cancel my Group Booking (40+ seats)

Cancellations – We will only refund tickets if the performance has been cancelled. If a booking fee has been charged, this will also be returned. We regret that tickets cannot be refunded due to adverse weather conditions if the performance goes ahead. No refund on pre-booked tickets will be made on the announcement of a subsequent special offer.

Schools/Education – free Teacher places are offered for every TEN under 16-year-old tickets (only) booked and paid for. Some School/Education Offers may have specific restrictions. Scouts, Brownies, Cubs and other youth organisations do not come under our offers for Schools/Education, they must be an educational body. Read more at our School Bookings and Plan A School Trip.

Early Bird Group Discounts – Invoices will always be sent as full adult prices until final numbers are given. Any Early bird discounts will then be applied on the payment date. Early bird discounts will not be applied after ’12-noon’ on the cut-off date. Postage delays missed invoices, and finance payment delays etc. will not be accepted as a reason to extend the early bird discount (it remains the customer’s responsibility to be aware and pay prior to the cut-off date).

Tickets – On Groups of 40+ tickets will not be issued but a seating plan from our box office – Please ensure you have a latest version (and your group assistants) before arriving at the theatre. If you prefer tickets for 50 plus people, there is a £3.50 fee.
