The Grand Theatre’s auditorium was crawling with the living dead yesterday, at a book signing event for Darren Shan’s latest children’s horror series ZOM-B. The whole event was broadcasted live on BBC Radio Lancashire’s The John Gillmore Show.
School children and horror fans were scared silly as terrifying zombies (dancers from Phil Winston’s Theatreworks) invaded the auditorium and performed a zombified dance routine on stage before Darren Shan read a spooky excerpt from the first book of the new series. Audience members then got the opportunity to walk on stage and get their copy of the book ZOM-B personalised by Darren Shan.
Luckily all of the audience members left the building unscathed…we think!
