Overview
Blackpool’s No.1 Pantomime – Martin Dodd for UK Productions Ltd in association with Blackpool Grand Theatre will stage one of the most enchanting rags-to-riches fairy tales of them all, Cinderella… You shall go to the ball!
Starring Hayley Tamaddon (Fairy Godmother), Steve Royle (Buttons), Jamie Morris (MelodyHard-Up), Tarot Joseph (Harmony Hard-Up), Kitty Harris (Cinderella), Mark Faith (as Baron Hardup), Toby Turpin (Prince Charming), Sam Ebenezer (as Dandini) with the Barbara Jackson Theatre Arts Centre, and of course, the sensational Shetland Ponies!
Much-loved actress Hayley Tamaddon wowed TV audiences when she took the top spot in ITV’s smash-hit reality skating show Dancing on Ice alongside childhood friend Dan Whiston. The multi-talented performer also scooped the top prize in Celebrity Stars in Your Eyes and has starred in countless West End productions from Chicago to Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and top TV dramas from Coronation St and Emmerdale to Shameless.
Joining Hayley is Panto favourite, Britain’s Got Talent finalist and Comic, Steve Royle as Buttons; Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph return once more as the incredibly gorgeous Ugly Sisters, Melody and Harmony Hard-Up.
Blackpool’s very own Kitty Harris is digital dynamite and has become world-famous on the social media platform TikTok for her hilarious comedy sketches and behind-the-scenes glimpses into her daily life. Her unique blend of humour and storytelling has even earned her a whopping 1.2 million followers! Further casting includes: Mark Faith (as Baron Hardup), Toby Turpin (Prince Charming), and Sam Ebenezer (as Dandini).
Blackpool’s No.1 Pantomime, Cinderella would love to go to the ball but, Melody and Harmony, the ugly sisters, have other ideas, they wickedly tear up Cinderella’s invitation! But all may not be lost! Can Cinderella’s ‘best friend in the whole wide world’, Buttons, and her magical Fairy Godmother, Cinderella get her to the ball… if so she must be home by midnight, or her true identity will be revealed to all! With a script by Jon Monie (winner of Best Script at the Great British Pantomime Awards 2019), Cinderella promises side-splitting comedy, with stunning sets and costumes.

* A ‘relaxed/chilled’ environment performance is perfect for anyone who benefits from a more relaxed performance environment, being able to make a noise, leave and return to their seat or access the toilets during the performance. This would include customers with dementia, anxiety, Tourette’s, bowel and bladder conditions, an autism spectrum condition, or a learning disability. Even a child’s first experience of a theatre or panto. There will be a few technical adjustments made to the performance. They are not suitable for customers with sensory sensitivities. BSL Sign Interpreted
There will be someone (usually stood on the front right hand corner of the stage) "signing" the performance in British Sign Language. They will sign characters speeches through the production to allow those with loss of hearing to follow the play.

Audio description is a live verbal commentary providing information on the visual elements of a production as it unfolds. as well as other visual information such as the style and design, sets, costumes, facial expressions and visual jokes.
