Blackpool Grand Theatre’s front of house department co-ordinates an active Volunteer Programme, an integral part of the theatre’s operation since 1973.
The prime role of the Volunteers is to offer excellent customer service to the Theatre’s customers. Acting as guides, point of sales assistants for both front of house and coffee bar, and stewards for the venue’s various spaces. They help the theatre selling programmes and merchandise, assisting in operational duties as required by the Front of House management team.
In selected roles they act as ambassadors, helping promote the artistic programme and our Get Creative work within their own networks and on behalf of the organisation at promotional events.
