Danny Robins’ critically acclaimed 2:22 – A GHOST STORY slips into Blackpool Grand Theatre from Tuesday 23 to Saturday 27 April 2024 for one week only and local landmarks are glowing red hot in anticipation.

“There’s something in our house. I hear it every night, at the same time…2:22″

Blackpool’s world-famous Tower, renowned hotel Hampton by Hilton and Blackpool’s beautiful Grand Theatre are just a few of the local hotspots that turned a searing scarlet to celebrate the first-ever UK tour of the terrifying theatrical phenomenon.

Book your seats now to see Vera Chok (Hollyoaks, Cobra) as Lauren, Jay McGuiness (The Wanted, BIG The Musical) as Ben, Fiona Wade (Emmerdale, Silent Witness) as Jenny and George Rainsford (Call the Midwife) as Sam in this slick supernatural tale that’s been called a ‘chilling romp’ and a ‘modern classic’.

The star-studded cast from 2:22 A Ghost Story were all very excited to see the resort getting ready for their arrival and were thrilled to see a spooky video of the big Blackpool light up! Vera said: “I’ve always wanted to go to Blackpool and now we are going to be there!” Fiona added “That’s so cool!” and George and Jay were just blown away and said “Wow!” and “That’s so lovely.” Vera then led the whole cast as they said: We cannot wait to see you all in Blackpool. See you soon!”

2:22 – A Ghost Story is written by award-winning writer Danny Robins, creator of the hit BBC podcast The Battersea Poltergeist. His gripping ghostly tale wowed the West End – opening to rave reviews in summer 2021 at the Noel Coward Theatre, winning the WhatsOnStage Award for Best New Play and starring huge household names throughout its smash-hit run so far including Lily Allen, Jake Wood, Giovanni Fletcher, Laura Whitmore, Matt Willis and Cheryl.

Jenny believes her new home is haunted, but her husband Sam isn’t having any of it. They argue with their first dinner guests, old friend Lauren and new partner Ben. Can the dead really walk again? Belief and scepticism clash, but something feels strange and frightening, and that something is getting closer, so they’re going to stay up until 2:22… and then they’ll know.

Do you dare discover the truth?
