Blackpool Grand Theatre is holding Taster Sessions to recruit for this year’s GRAND Young Company.

If you are aged between 14-19 years and have an interest in any aspect of theatre, you are invited to be a part of this young company.

If you think this is for you and would love to learn more The Grand is offering two free 2hour Taster Sessions Join us on Wednesday 2 and Wednesday 16 October at 6.30pm-8pm. You’ll have to opportunity to ask questions, and learn more about the company – you need only attend one of the dates.

The GRAND Young Company meets on Wednesday evenings between 6:30pm and 8pm in theSTUDIO at The Grand. On the curriculam for this academic year we will be focusing on themes around current shows at The Grand and you will be then invited to see the performance. Our main project will be refining skills on acting for stage and film as well as devising, performing and filming our own piece, that will allow you to have creative input.

Those who are interested in performance, directing/script  and all aspects of theatre-making, are all encouraged to apply.

The cost is £15 membership fee, plus £5 per session.
