Blackpool’s Grand Theatre aims to give the best access to the theatre it possibly can. We aim to be welcoming to all, and are committed to making your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Access To The Theatre Season Brochure
A copy of our brochure is also available in large print via the website. For your comfort and safety, please inform Box Office staff of any needs you may require at the time of booking to ensure that suitable seating is allocated and other necessary arrangements made.
Access To The Theatre Box Office and Booking
The Grand Theatre Box Office is located at the front of the theatre on ground level (Church Street). Our Box Office staff are always happy to assist in ticket transactions or ticket collections outside the box office – please feel free to ask.
Access To The Theatre Seating and Washrooms
Stalls seats have level access from Corporation Street and Matcham’s Bar. There are nine spaces for wheelchair users at every performance. If you have a larger or motorized chair, please inform our Box Office staff at time of booking so that we can accommodate you in comfort and safety. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet at the rear of the Stalls.
TheSTUDIO is fully accessible to wheelchair users and access patrons via a lift from Matcham Court. There is also an accessible washroom.

Audio description, is offered on demand wherever possible. Look out for our audio described logo on our shows.
Access To The Theatre – Registered Assistance Dogs
Registered assistance dogs are welcome. Please inform the Box Office of requirements at time of booking.
Access To The Theatre For The Hearing Impaired
The Grand Theatre, Blackpool has an Induction Loop. Ask for information when making your booking, or one of our staff prior to the performance. Some performances are BSL Sign Language Interpreted and are advertised in our brochure and on our website.

Access To The Theatre For Wheelchair Users
We can accommodate up to nine wheelchair users in our Stalls. If you are Registered Disabled and cannot attend the performance without a companion we will offer a complimentary ticket for your companion.

We designed our website with everyone in mind. Our font is scaleable, and its size is determined by the settings of your browser. You can check this setting by selecting ‘Text size’ in the ‘View’ drop-down menu of your browser toolbar. The setting should be ‘Medium’ for a normal text size resolution.
1. If you use Microsoft Edge, go to the View menu, select Text Size and to increase the size, select either Larger or Largest
2. If you use Firefox, go to the View menu, select Zoom and then either Zoom in (Ctrl + +),Zoom out (Ctrl + -) or Reset (Ctrl + 0).
3. If you use Safari, go to the View menu, select Text Size and then either Increase Ctrl + +, Decrease Ctrl + – or Normal Ctrl + 0.
