Ever fancied treading the boards at Blackpool’s Grand?
Did you spend your Sunday nights watching Heartbeat wishing you could pop for a pint in the Aidensfield Arms and have a chat with the locals?
Well, now you can!
This is the first national theatre tour of ITV’s popular Sunday evening 60s police drama and stars members of the TV cast David Lonsdale and Steven Blakeley as David Stockwell and PC Geoff Younger. This touring production recreates the atmosphere of the 1960s rural Yorkshire settings with use of video footage and a clever set.
Join well-loved characters David Stockwell, Gina Ward, PC Geoff Younger on the stage in a two-hour live production with a brand-new script.
The show has scenes which require a crowd on stage and if you’re aged over 40 we want you!
We are looking for six people each performance for simple walk-on roles. You don’t need to be available for every performance, but you will need to be available on the evening of Tuesday 15th March for costume fitting and a chat with the director, and for the dress rehearsal at 2.30pm Wednesday 16th March.
Heartbeat plays Wednesday 16 March at 7.30pm, Thursday 17 March at 2.00pm and 7.30pm, Friday 18 March at 7.30pm and Saturday 19 March at 2.00pm and 7.30pm.
