Calling all male actors!!!
The world premiere of the stage adaptation of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is coming to Blackpool Grand Theatre Tuesday 2 and Saturday 6 June. We are currently looking for 2 adult supernumaries (extras) to appear in various scenes at each performance.
This is a voluntary position and these are nonspeaking roles; however, this is fantastic opportunity to appear in a beautiful production alongside a wonderful company of adults and children. This is perfect for anyone looking to go into acting, students, amateur actors, or those trying to build up their CV.
You must be:
Adult male, white, very short hair (shaved for preference), thin/slim, 5’7″-6’3″. Must be confident movers. To appear as: – people of Berlin (opening sequence and two scene changes), completing suggestion of street life – party guests – applauding Grandmother and greeting Father – servants (costume budget permitting) – “line of thin servants” in The New House – camp inhabitants – rounded up and march.

Need to be able to get to the following location and available at these times and dates:
Location: The Grand Theatre, Blackpool
Rehearsal day/time: Tuesday 2nd June from midday
Performances: Tues 2nd June 7pm, Wed 3rd June 1.30pm, Thurs 4th June 10.30am & 2.30pm, Fri 5th 7pm, Sat 6th June 2.30pm & 7pm
Please Note: If selected, you will be required on stage at various points throughout the whole performance; however, you are not required to stay for the curtain call.
