Love photography? Why not take up one of our fantastic photography courses with internationally renowned photographer Sean Conboy at Blackpool Grand Theatre.
Following sell-out success of photography courses over the past 5 years we have decided to increase the number of sessions per year and in addition, create a brand new more focused ADVANCED Photographic Session in addition to the BASICS Session allowing more seasoned photographers the time and opportunity to talk to a leading photographer in his field as well as have the time to photograph such an incredible building.
New Photography Courses Added
Sean Conboy has been the official photographer for The Grand for many years and his work is regularly featured in all our media as well as many international magazines.
Conboy’s BASIC Photographic sessions will cover; Using Manual can help your photography, Using light to your best advantage, Improve your interior photography and, How to look and find pictures in a space. Participants will also get time to roam the auditorium of The Grand and photograph.
Our new ADVANCED Photography courses will cover; a full explanation of tilt and shift camera movements, How to use flash and led lighting to help light interiors, Practical demo of an interior shoot, Chance to use Pro flash lighting and tech camera with Hasselblad 100mp digital back and, How to achieve the best viewpoints and use different focal lengths of a lens to make the most of the subject. Only 6 places are available on this course so places are limited and you have more opportunity to spend more one-on-one time with Conboy.
To be given this level of access to the building in all its glory is a highly unusual occurrence.
Learn The Basic
Whether you want to learn the basics, dream of building on your existing photography skills, or are budding professional – these Photographic Sessions are the ideal master class for all levels.
These sessions are just under 5 hours and will provide you with a variety of skills needed to photograph beautiful structures and interiors. The day will begin with an introductory presentation, where Sean will use his extensive technical experience to advise you how to best capture the perfect shot.
