Pinnochio is a cheeky wooden marionette puppet who has one wish – to become a real boy. But he also has an unruly nose, a nose which grows every time he tells a lie. Audiences will be charmed as they follow Pinocchio’s epic quest of self-discovery, which sees him overcome obstacles, face the consequences of his actions, and even find himself in the belly of a whale.

Featuring all the best-loved characters, including Gepetto, The Blue Fairy and Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio is certain to be a hit with adults and children alike.

Made famous by the 1940 Disney film, this traditional Italian tale of morals and big dreams has been reworked into a stunning stage production by the same company that charmed audiences with The Little Mermaid in 2014.

Told through heart-warming dance, beautiful costumes and a moving classical score, this easily accessible and enjoyable production is a must-see for lifelong ballet lovers and a brilliant introduction for families and newcomers to dance and theatre.

Pinocchio comes to Blackpool Grand Theatre on Wednesday 18 May. Tickets are available from or by calling 01253 290190.
