ASHLEIGH AND PUDSEY stole our hearts on Britain’s Got Talent and they tell us all about their new production Mission ImPUDSEYble.

How often a week do you train?

It’s not as much as people think. If I’m training for a performance I’ll go through the routine twice a day. If I’m just teaching him tricks then I’ll probably train for about 15-30 minutes a day.

What is your favourite trick that Pudsey can do?

I love how high Pudsey can jump. For a small dog he can jump very high, its like he has springs in his paws. Pudseys favourite trick is walking on his back legs, he thinks he’s a little human!

Is this your first theatre tour?

We have done four pantos and we also starred in wizard of oz over last Easter. That was for two weeks and was touring, but it was no where near as long as this tour, or as exciting!

Do you get nervous before you perform with Pudsey?

Not really, Pudsey knows his job now and so do I. He loves performing and show off to people, I’m very lucky, because a lot of dogs wouldn’t be able to cope with the lights of the stage and telly.

Does Pudsey have a favourite food?

Pudsey loves ALL food! His favourites have to be, ham sandwich, beef burger and on very special occasions steak!

Will you be joined by any other performers in Mission ImPUDSEYble?

The reason why this show is going to be so unique is because it’s going to be packed full of lots of different things. A dancing dog, acrobats, dancers, singing etc.

If you could have a secret agent code name what would it be? And explain why!

Secret agent Ashleigh Butler?! Can’t get any cooler than that!

And what name would you give to your sidekick Pudsey?

Special spy Pudsey the dog!

If you could have one gadget each what would you pick? You can be as inventive as you like!

I’d love to have a gun that when I shoot people with it, it makes them tell the truth about anything I want to know. Things would definitely be a lot easier then.

What are you most looking forward to it being part of Mission ImPUDSEYble?

We both just love being on the stage, and now we get to do what we love in our very own show! Not many people or dogs can say they have had a stage show written for them!
