A Christmas show for people who enjoy the ‘Traditions of great Pantomime’.

It may be just the start of the year, but Blackpool panto fever has started, and this Christmas show is in high demand, with thousands of people already booking their seats

There’s just one source to ask where’s the best Blackpool Panto?… Mirror, Mirror on the wall… What’s the greatest panto of them all? Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Blackpool Grand of course…

Excitement is building as the theatre star name is soon to be announced and will join Blackpool panto legend Steve Royle (BBC Radio Lancashire). This year will be Royle’s 18th appearance in the Blackpool panto at Blackpool Grand Theatre, the home of traditional pantomime. Joining the cast once again will be the incredible dancers from the Barbara Jackson Theatre Arts Centre with choreography by Katie Hill.

Choreographer of Blackpool Panto at Blackpool Grand is Katie Hill. Hill has been nominated in the Great British Pantomime Awards for her incredible choreography in Peter Pan last year.

Hill said; ‘It’s a delight to work with the team at UK Productions and Blackpool Grand, its more family than work!

I’m overwhelmed with the nomination and the support has been fantastic, thank you everyone.

Peter Pan starred Tom Lister, Steve Royle and Jack Heasman plus full supporting cast.

Ruth Eastwood, Grand Theatre CEO and Producer Martin Dodd sent special congratulations to Hill.

Pantomime producers UK Productions Ltd are hard at work getting the production ready for this year’s upcoming Christmas extravaganza. It’s an all year-round job creating the magic and involves a dedicated team of designers, carpenters, scenic artists, costume makers and metal workers to make the magic happen

With an incredible attention for detail, the set includes a fabulously quaint cottage pictured, the painters and builders are all hard at work, never mind the number of seamstresses – it’s hi-ho, hi-ho hectic!

Martin Dodd for UK Productions in association with Blackpool Grand Theatre will present Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs this year.

This year, as Muddles, Royle will make his 18th annual appearance on the Grand Blackpool panto stage. The full star cast is soon to be announced.

Royle is a comedian, radio presenter, actor, writer, husband and Dad. His many TV appearances have included Phoenix Nights, Max & Paddy, Behind The Scene, That’s Entertainment, Stand-up Britain, Give Your Mate A Break, The Afternoon Show, Talk Of The North, The Things You Do For Love, and despite being one of the North West’s healthiest males (according to Steve!), a medical insurance commercial for Medicash.

Join Steve and the cast for the greatest pantomime ever told, poor Snow White is doomed to live unhappily ever after with her horrid stepmother the Wicked Queen. In true rags-to-riches style Snow White hopes, with the help of her madcap friend Muddles, to meet a handsome Prince and make her dreams come true.

Spectacular sets, dazzling costumes and side-splitting comedy, this festive extravaganza is on sale now so book your seats today for the Blackpool panto ‘must-see’ Christmas show in 2020/21.
