In honour of the arrival of Breakin’ Convention this year (May 27) there has been a big shout out to represent the Hip-Hop movement of the past, from the early 80’s to present day.

Grand Theatre wants to give this scene a platform to represent the evolution of Hip-Hop in Blackpool… but we can’t do it alone…

WE NEED YOU!

Are you a secret Sneaker Head with your first pair of Adidas Classics: tucked away in the back of your wardrobe? Can we breathe life back into your first Run-D.M.C cassette tape that is lovingly packed away in your attic? Are you in possession of some vintage photos of you Breakin’ with your first crew? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you!

We’d love you to donate for our exhibition, send us as much, or as little as you wish so we can put together the greatest collection. We would also love to hear your stories behind the objects; Why is the object special to you, and how came into your possession?

All objects donated to the exhibition, unless otherwise stated, will be returned to you in the condition in which we received the them.

Drop off dates are between 2pm and 6:30pm on the following dates:
10, 17 and 24 April, 2017. If you can’t make theses time slots, please get in touch to organise a drop off with Pashah@blackpoolgrand.co.uk telephone 01253 74 32 64.
