Joe Wells’ writing career began when his first book ‘Touch and Go Joe’ about his experiences of OCD was published, since then he has made a name for himself as a stand up comic, writer and speaker. He focuses mainly on his unique brand of political comedy.

He has opened for Frankie Boyle on some of his 2015 Leicester Square Theatre Dates and again for some of his 2016 Pleasance Islington and Leicester Square Theatre dates. He has also been on tour with Alexei Sayle.

He has won multiple awards including; Comedy Central Funniest Student 2010 and The Portsmouth Guide Award for Best Comedy 2014. Joe has also come runner up in a number of other competitions such as New Act Of The Year 2011, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2012 and London New Comedy Awards 2010.
