The Jungle Book (8 TO 12 MAY)

How he loved Running Wild on a recent trip to The Grand… Children’s Touring Partnership return to the Grand with a show I know he’ll love – Jungle Book! Loved as a bedtime story this show looks packed with great characters, songs and based on Running Wild, brilliant storytelling.

A boy raised by wolves in the jungle, with the help of his animal friends, including Bagheera the panther, Baloo the bear and Kaa the python, Mowgli will quickly learn the law of the jungle.

 

Sister – Who’s just started Ballet Classes

My First Ballet: Swan Lake (5 TO 6 MAY)

Perfect for a little sister who’s just started ballet classes… This shortened version with Tchaikovsky’s wonderful music is the perfect introduction to the magic of ballet for young children, and a fantastic family day out. For someone who loves a twisted tale of nerve-jangling horror, this adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic gothic thriller stars Phil Daniels (EastEnders) as the extraordinary Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

 

Uncle Bob – Always the Jokester

Jason Manford: Muddle Class (27 AND 28 JAN)

Uncle Bob is always the big joker and can’t miss Manford on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Perfect for the family member who loves a one liners… Jason Manford returns to Blackpool’s Grand and  since his last smash-hit stand up show this one can’t be missed!

 

Grandma – Loves a Classic

Madama Butterfly (21 FEB)

Grandma loves a special occasion and a reason to dress up, treat her to Opera & Ballet International presenting Ellen Kent’s award-winning Madama Butterfly, the show always features an exquisite stage with spectacular Japanese garden and costumes, including antique wedding kimonos from Japan.

Photographic Session – The Basics (22 AND 23 JAN)

Jamie’s getting a new camera for Christmas, so what would be better than a course with internationally renowned photographer Sean Conboy for a unique Photographic Session – The Basics.

Whether you know someone who wants to learn the basics, dreams of building on their existing photography skills, or are budding professional – these Photographic Sessions are the ideal master class for all levels.

Sessions are just under 5 hours and will provide the recipient with a variety of skills needed to photograph beautiful structures and interiors. They have the opportunity to take pictures of The Grand’s Grade II* listed interior using Sean’s top tips with their own camera too.
