On Saturday 6 October, knitters from Aunty Social’s Knittaz with Attitude got together for a scandinavian tea party at the Grand Theatre! Knitters have been very busy knitting the set for LipService Theatre’s Inspector Norse, which premiere’s at The Grand for one night only on Monday 15 October.

It was wall to wall woolly hats on Saturday, as the knitters all came dressed in their fair isle jumpers, bobble hats and knitted scarves. LipService Theatre’s Maggie Fox and Sue Ryding came along to the tea party to meet the knitters and to pick up items for the knitted set including knitted leaves, icicles, body organs, knitted candlesticks, a telephone and an amazing knitted cuckoo clock!

You can come and see the show Inspector Norse and admire the knitted set on Monday 15 October. To book tickets visit the Inspector Norse show page on The Grand’s website at blackpoolgrand.co.uk/shows/performance/inspectornorse or call the Box Office on 01253 74 33 38
