Our incredible Cinderella Slipper has gone missing!

Blackpool’s Grand Theatre commissioned a VERY SPECIAL display for their upcoming pantomime Cinderella – And of course a Cinderella Slipper must sparkle!

With the magical expertise of Love Letters of Bolton, who have created a giant Cinderella Slipper that brightens any space.

But there’s bad news, and we need your help…! The Ugly Sisters (Jamie Morris and Tarrot Joseph) have wickedly pinched it and hidden our giant Cinderella Slipper! But where could it be? Cinderella needs your help to find it!

So… Blackpool’s Grand Theatre is launching an unbelievable Competition to help find it…!

We have some good news though… The Uglies were overheard talking and they said they’d hidden it somewhere in Blackpool Town Centre, but they’ve said that if they get wind that someone might find the Cinderella Slipper, they’ll move it once again (ooo they’re mean!)!

So we need your help! Help us find the Cinderella Slipper, we just need you to take a selfie with the slipper and send it to us! Find out more below. As a bonus if you find it the Uglies left some ‘2-4-1 ticket’ vouchers behind, so make sure to grab one!

We’ll pick THREE lucky winners who help us find the Cinderella Slipper – They will WIN a Family Ticket (For Four) for the 2pm showing on 29 December of Cinderella, a Programme, and a Meet and Greet with the Panto Cast after the show!

Love Letters of Bolton

The Light Up Slipper was handmade by Nigel Birch of Love Letters of Bolton. They are a family run business which started in May 2016. All their numbers and letters are manufactured in house and each one is individually PAT tested and covered with Public Liability Insurance.

Andrew Howard, Grand Theatre Marketing Manager said, ‘Cinderella is a huge Blackpool favourite and we wanted to celebrate in style. Blackpool’s Grand has worked with Nigel, a local master craftsmen on a number of occasions, most recently our Season Launch where he lit up the theatre with fabulous ‘G R A N D’ lettering. For pantomime, we wanted something super special, so we commissioned Nigel to create an incredible lightbox slipper. He did not disappoint and local companies were delighted to work in conjunction with us in making it available for the public to see, and maybe grab a selfie with it?’.
